Delilah Hamlin shared a photo of her getting an IV on her Instagram Story on Tuesday. And soon, he offered his fans and followers what he described as “chronic illness problems.”

After a years-long health battle, in the middle of which the 24-year-old model suffered an accidental prescription drug overdose, Delilah opened up about her struggle, seemingly revealing that she has relied on her faith to pull through.

“I haven’t talked about my health lately [and] if you’re new here you’re probably confused but for the past few years I’ve been struggling with an autoimmune problem/chronic illness that I’ve been silently fighting and overcoming. It’s definitely tough mentally along with physically. I just keep quiet because I don’t want to be put in the ‘sick’ role,” wrote Delilah on January 24. through this for a reason and the reason is to show what I’ve been through and what I’ve learned with you.

As RHOBA Fans may recall that Delilah confirmed her accidental overdose in November 2021, admitting to being “addicted” to Xanax as doctors tried to treat her for some mysterious symptoms.

“I started getting really sick, I started feeling like the flu. I had migraines, I had panic attacks – like my body was in ‘fight or flight’ mode. It was horrible. … For panic attacks, they got so bad I had to see a psychiatrist, ” he recalled. “I found this guy and he… over-prescribed me.”

“I didn’t mean it,” he continued. “I overdosed on this one drug called Propranolol. I took Benadryl and, for some reason, I ended up in the hospital.

After the ordeal, Delilah entered a treatment center in Arizona. But after being labeled a “medical risk” due to seizures, he was “politely discharged after three weeks.”
