Debbie Wasserman Schultz Gives Fox News Analyst A Harsh Lesson On Opinion vs. Fact

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) grilled Fox News legal analyst for showing “pure conjecture” during the hearing for the new Weaponization of the House of Federal Government committee.

Jonathan Turley, a witness called by the GOP, said Monday about the “Twitter Files,” or internal information about the platform that CEO Elon Musk gave to reporters — but Wasserman Schultz isn’t buying that he has “unique knowledge” about social media. media giant.

“Do you have an official relationship with the company?” he asked.

“No, I just have an account,” replied Turley, an attorney and George Washington University law professor who offered a variety confused to take on Fox News last year. He then added that his knowledge of Twitter does not extend beyond the Twitter File and what he reads in the media.

Wasserman Schultz said: “So your answers to the questions here are your own opinions and assumptions.
