Cody Longoknown for his roles in television series like The days of our lives, Hollywood Heights, Nashville, and Make or Break Ithas died at the age of 34.
according to TMZ Saturday night, the actor was found dead in his bed at home in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday. The outlet claims her husband, Stephanie Longo, was at work at a local dance studio today but became worried when he couldn’t get ahold of Cody. When the former Nickelodeon star continued not to answer him, he got “uncomfortable” and called the police to check on him.
Law enforcement officers rushed to the home and knocked on the door, but no one answered. The police eventually kicked in the door, and when they found Cody dead in his bed.

The cause of death is unknown at this time, but loved ones reportedly believe relapse and alcoholism are likely to have contributed to his death. A family member said that the Bring It On: Fight to the End star struggled with alcohol abuse for years. In 2013, Cody was charged with DUI in Los Angeles and sentenced to alcohol education classes and three years of summary probation. He is reportedly going to rehab in the summer of 2022, and his wife is with him TMZ that she works hard to fight for her three children: a 7-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old son, and a 1-year-old son. Stephanie added in a statement to Entertainment Tonight:
“The babies and I are so devastated. Cody was our whole world, we are devastated. He was the best dad and the best father. We will always miss and love him. We have a wonderful marriage and 3 babies the beautiful ones are 7, 5 and 1.
Manager Cody, Alex Gittelsonalso remembers “a dear friend of over ten years,” he said people in the statement:
“My heart breaks for his beautiful family. He has been away from acting for some time to pursue music and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we have stayed in touch regularly and he is excited to get back to acting this year. Cody is a loyal person, loving and talented and he will be greatly missed.
