David Hickson Gyedu provides an assist in KFUM’s win over Rosenborg


David Hickson Gyedu played a decisive role as KFUM beat Rosenborg 2-0 in Eliteserien action at KFUM Arena, supplying the assist for Teodor Berg Haltvik’s second goal.

The Norwegian-Ghanaian midfielder helped set the tone early, and KFUM’s sharp start left Rosenborg chasing the game.

Daniel Schneider opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Gyedu turned provider again in the 27th minute, when Haltvik headed in to double the lead. KFUM stayed organized after the break and protected their advantage well, while Rosenborg struggled to create clear chances.

David Hickson Gyedu was involved for 78 minutes and finished with one assist, adding another productive outing to his season. In the 2025/26 Eliteserien, David Hickson Gyedu has now made four appearances and recorded one assist, with no goals so far. It was another sign of his growing importance in KFUM’s midfield and attacking transitions.

KFUM is 10th on the league table with 11 points after 10 games.

KFUM’s next match is away to Tromsø on Friday, May 29.
