Datamaker & KOICA are opening AI-related ICT training scholarships for 500 Ghanaian youth from February 2023
Datamaker Ghana Limited, a licensed Ghanaian Free Zone Company, headquartered in Korea (Datamaker, CEO: Enoch Lee) released plans to equip over 500 Ghanaian youth with ICT Skills related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) this year.
Datamaker in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the five-year (2021-2025) Inclusive Business Solutions program (2021-2025) is running a Scholarship training program aimed at expanding KOICA’s determination to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong promotion learning opportunities for all and promote sustainable economic growth, inclusive and sustainable, full and productive employment and work descent for all.
In a recent statement, CEO Enoch Lee highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in today’s world and recommended young people in Ghana to take the opportunity of the Datamaker ICT Training Scholarship- KOICA IBS as a step towards a successful career in the field of AI.

In a recent interview, Richard Narh, the Training Facilitator disclosed that the Scholarship training program is expected to benefit over 2500 Ghanaian youth by 2025. He disclosed that since its inception in 2021, the program has provided over 300 Ghanaian youth with AI related ICT . skills and decent job opportunities. The scholarship award covers tuition fees and other related expenses.
