Summer House star Danielle Olivera has confirmed that she and her chef boyfriend have been dating for two years, Robert sievehas broken up.
Rumors have been swirling for some time now that the former couple is on the rocks. However, Danielle said she is not commenting on the rumors because she is still reeling from the breakup, and it is still “very emotional” for her.
“The rumors were kind of going out there… I haven’t confirmed it publicly… because I don’t know how to say it then,” Danielle recently told Hiburan Bengi. “I’m in a better place right now – still emotionally – but mentally, I’m like in.”
Danielle and Robert remained supportive of each other throughout their relationship, but fans began to speculate that their relationship was in danger after the two stopped posting on social media in 2022. They ended up unfollowing each other.
Danielle said the two officially separated back in November and cited “bubbling and bursting” communication problems as the reason for the separation.
“It happened, like right before Thanksgiving, it happened right before he was out in Aspen for the season,” Danielle said. “It’s just one of those things that we don’t communicate very well.”
Robert’s career also played a contributing role in the couple’s decision to call it quits. Danielle said Robert’s professional life was a “priority”.
“You know, he just does it at work, and that’s his priority. And he, you know, he said that he can’t make me happy anymore, and there you can be happy… oh, God… That’s the end,” he told the outlet said with tears.
Danielle maintained that she was “obsessed” with Robert throughout the filming of season seven Summer Housebut it started to crumble after filming ended.
“He’ll be on the show, I mean. We don’t always get along because I miss him so much, but our deaths happened after we stopped filming [season seven of Summer House].”
Where she is now, Danielle says it’s “a bit awkward”, but she says she wants her and Robert to have a “friendship”.
“Obviously, it’s going to take some time,” he said. “But we’ve shared a lot of good times with a lot of people, and no one should have to suffer because of this.”
Where the two heads from here is unclear, but Danielle says “never say never” to her and Robert gives her another chance. However, he noted that his main focus now is on himself.
“I’m really just focused on moving forward, getting all the distractions I need to help me do that,” he said. “You know, messaging friends, family, going out — it gets a little messy.”
