The mysterious death of 29-year-old Groblersdal farmer Willem Kruger continues to baffle friends and family.

Kunene was blamed for the ‘cockroach’ slur, he should apologize to Malema

Patriotic Alliance vice-president Kenny Kunene was ordered to apologize to EFF leader Julius Malema after he called him a “cockroach” and a “little frog” during a TV interview in November 2021.

The Johannesburg High Court on Tuesday found Kunene guilty of hate speech.

He ordered Kunene to publicly apologize to Malema and retract his statement. It also ruled that Kunene must pay Malema’s costs.

Kunene must apologize within 30 days.

Sahpra green light antiviral drug to treat Covid

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (Sahpra) has registered the anti-viral drug Paxlovid to treat Covid-19.

The drug is manufactured by Pfizer.

Paxlovid is used for the treatment of mild to moderate Covid in adult patients who do not need it
supplemental oxygen and those at risk of severe infection.

Where is the tiger? Edenvale SPCA has not confirmed the safety of the big cats

Confusion reigned on social media on Friday afternoon after the Edenvale SPCA said in a statement that it was unable to confirm the safety of the tiger that was captured and sedated after escaping on Monday morning.

This was after private security company SOS SA shared on their social media page that the tiger was safe.

Swat SOS 24/7 wrote on Facebook: “Units have helped locate and capture the tiger in Edenvale. The animal has been sedated and taken to a sanctuary for safekeeping. No further information will be provided at this time.”

Mihlali lost her after she spread pregnancy rumours

Despite being told many times to think of her own womb (uteri?), social media users don’t seem to be learning. The latest to become curious is influencer Mihlali Ndamase who has sparked pregnancy rumors because she thinks she is not posting her photos as often as usual.

Most recently, her followers crossed the line when they flooded the comments with premature congratulatory messages and questions about whether or not she was pregnant.
