CSSPS Fraud: Protocol List ‘Cannot Be Scrapped’ . . . – Prof Kofi Agyekum Tells GII | Education

The Head of Linguistics at the University of Ghana, Professor Kofi Agyekum has expressed his opinion against the proposal of the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) to abolish the “protocol list” system in Senior Secondary Schools under the Computerized School Selection and Placement System.

The Ghana Integrity Initiative, an anti-corruption organisation, said the list of protocols gives room for people to cheat and also does not provide fair and equal opportunities in the placement system.

Responding to GII requests on Peace FM Morning program “Cockroach”, Prof. Kofi Agyekum, known as Chief Agyekum, said the list of protocols “cannot be removed” but it is recommended “There are cut-off points that must be transparent and strictly adhered to” to streamline the system.
