Crystal Kung-Minkoff he reportedly returned to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in a full-time role for season 13 – and he will be joined by one of his unrelated “friends 14” after he joins the series for season 11 in 2021.
In the heel out of Add Chest and Diana JenkinsConfirmed departures with statements earlier this month, insiders have revealed that Crystal will return for a new episode with a “pal” from her controversial group of friends.
On January 13, Radar Online claimed that one of the 14 women Crystal had issues with after entering the series would be part of season 13, but did not say if she would be a diamond holder or friend. As RHOBA fans will recall, this matter was discussed in season 12 before Crystal claimed on social media that it was actually “just [three] people” he broke up with, noting “others came back and apologized.”
As the outlet explains, Andy Cohen allegedly heard confirmation of this news.
“Allegedly a certain Bravo host was heard saying RHOBA starts filming in a few weeks. 1 of HWs news is one of Crystal’s ’14 friends,’ who also confirmed Crystal’s return,” Bravo Queen shared on Instagram this week.
Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvaisand Sutton Strake all expected to have a role in the upcoming 13th season of RHOBA. And, when Kathy Hilton was described as “wishy-washy” about his own potential return before Lisa’s exit, Radar Online suspected that now that Lisa is no longer in the picture, she will reprise her “friend” role for a new episode.
On Jan. 5, months after she decided to step down following the season 12 reunion, Lisa broke the news to the public in a statement to PEOPLE.
“This is the longest project I’ve done in my 35-year career, and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved with the series,” she said. “It’s been an exciting eight years, and I’m excited for what’s to come!”
A few days later, on January 9, Diana took to her Instagram page, where she confirmed that she will not appear in the new season either.
“As you know, Asher and I are expecting our second child at the end of this year. You also know that due to many factors, this pregnancy is considered high risk, and I am on bed rest as recommended by the doctor. To that end, I cannot devote myself fully complete for filming next season The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” he wrote. “I want to thank Bravo and Evolution for allowing me to focus on my pregnancy and for their support and understanding. I promise to continue sharing my fertility journey with you.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production sometime later this month.
