The Scots Tories and Greens are in decline
In the 2010 General Election when the Tories returned to power, there was no change in seats in Scotland. Labor had 41 of 69 seats and finished with 41 of 69 seats
All that changed north of the border after IndyRef in 2014 when there was a big move to the SNP in the polls despite the referendum being status quo.
Since the Scottish LAB has been thrown out in terms of Westminster, but that could all change if the latest poll shown above is a good guide to public opinion.
It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that SLAB can return to its GE2019 position. The first time in the past when there were four important parties could act in a very powerful way.
The challenges facing LAB should not be underestimated. In GE2019, he got only 202 out of 650 MPs. Getting a majority can be a challenge.
What Starmer’s party should be worried about is that the highest proportion of GE2019 CON voters are currently ignorant.
