Savanta poll: 67% say they should stop if they discover cheating
It will be a big week for former prime minister Boris Johnson with the Commons Privileges Committee reporting on whether he lied to the House about partygate.
A new poll from Savanta found that 67% of people asked said they should quit if they were in fact lying in the House of Commons.
This is all about the statement made in the House that no rules were broken during the lockdown. A four-hour session is scheduled for Wednesday and it is possible that he will be adjourned.
If that happens, if the delay is long enough, there may be a recall petition in the Uxbridge & S Ruislip constituency.
The bet is 96% chance that he will not be the leader in the general election.
