Not like a little reunion! Stars from TV and movies are constantly reuniting in Hollywood, whether it’s on the red carpet or for new projects.
Jennifer Garner meet again with Mark Ruffalowho played her love interest in 13 Continue 30and working on another film with his costar made it even more special.
“It’s great,” Garner said Good morning America in March about the shooting The Adam Project with Ruffalo. “We play a married couple and we just have a sense of comfort, and there’s obviously a connection and a warmth. It’s actually a wonderful experience to see that relationship again.
Meanwhile, the Friends cast came back together for one public celebration of the end of their hit show, and it was a very sentimental experience.
“It’s a blow to the heart in a way,” Jennifer Aniston said on SiriusXM’s Gayle King in the House soon after Friends special released on HBO Max in May 2021. “This is for all of us. Even Courteney [Cox] we cry.”
The cast – who later in the special confirmed they will not be reuniting publicly to show again – must walk through the old set and that adds more nostalgia to walk down memory lane.
“We romanticized it, but you also have to remember that we are gone [since the series finale],” Aniston explained at the time. “And that time is a specific time, when we say goodbye to something we don’t want, we care a lot, but we know it’s time to say goodbye. Our life is ahead of us. We have a future ahead of us.”
At Morning Show star added: “It almost feels like time has stopped and we’re time traveling. And there’s good, and then there’s heartache.”
As for Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalderthey turned the reunion after the time The Vampire Diaries it is a business venture that continues to work together again.
“The reality is we’ll finish shooting and we’ll go to a bar or we’ll go home or whatever, but we’ll always kick back and have bourbon, so we developed this love for bourbon,” Wesley said. Wesley continued: “So we love him. And when the show ended, we finally had some time and we really put it together. We’re just so proud.
