The South African music community has been reeling following the news of Costa Titch’s death.
The musician, 27, reportedly collapsed on stage during a performance at the Ultra Music Festival held at the Nasrec Expo Center on Saturday, March 11.
A fan captured the moment he said he collapsed and later died. There is no official statement about what happened to the musician.

Costa Titch, real name Costa Tsobanoglou, was booked to perform at the launch of Smirnoff Storm Room – SA’s newest entertainment platform for Amapiano and Afro-Tech music and culture.
He’s in the lineup alongside Focalistic, DBN Gogo, Uncle Waffles and more.
“The Storm Smirnoff room is the main place for Amapiano and Afro-Tech. It’s time for the music genre to have a platform like this; something that supports music and culture.

“For me, it’s also about finding the freedom to create and then sharing it with people on the dance floor. I can’t wait to hear the sound,” said Costa Titch before the show.
Fans of the musician are also happy for him after the news that he recently signed with Senegalese American star Akon’s Konvict Records.
Who is Costa Titch?
Costa Titch is a South African musician who got his start as a dancer for some of the country’s most popular rappers. Although he hails from Nelspruit in Mpumalanga, the musician was based primarily in Johannesburg at the time of his death.
He is best known for songs like the Nkalakatha remix – which featured the late Riky Rick and AKA – and Phezulu, which featured Boity. The late musician distinguished himself from other musicians by rapping in isiZulu and this got him a lot of attention because he was not black.
Throughout his career, he highlighted his love for African languages but did not share facts about his personal life.
