Cork City boss Barry Robson delighted to work with new signing Joe Aidoo

Cork City manager Barry Robson has expressed his excitement about working with new signing Joe Aidoo after completing the midfielder’s capture.

The Irish club confirmed the arrival of the Ghanaian midfielder on an 18-month contract following his departure from Saudi Arabian side Al-Sharq.

Aidoo joins Cork City after gaining experience across several countries, including Ghana, Cameroon, India and Nepal, and is expected to add quality and competition to Robson’s squad.

Robson welcomed the midfielder’s arrival and revealed that the club are eager to begin working with him after the completion of his paperwork.

“We are very pleased to have him on board and look forward to working with him,” Robson said.

The Cork City boss believes Aidoo’s qualities, including his energy and ability to create opportunities, will make him an important addition to the team.

Robson also praised the midfielder’s experience, noting that Aidoo has already accumulated significant playing time despite being only 26 years old.
