In a statement published on Monday, February 27, 2023, the NCA gave customers who have not completed the second stage of the registration process to do so by “Friday, March 10, 2023, otherwise the SIM will be deactivated from the network ( s).”
“The National Communications Authority (NCA) would like to remind customers who have completed stage one (1) but not stage two (2) of their SIM registration, as part of the ongoing SIM registration exercise, to do so immediately or risk having their SIM disconnected. after March 10, 2023,“NCA said in a statement.
“Again, the importance of the SIM Registration Exercise is to develop and build a SIM database with integrity that will help prevent fraudulent activities. The NCA continues to urge all customers to complete their SIM registration with Ghana Cards to avoid shutdown.”
