“We used to talk about, and a lot of people still imagine this and it’s probably true, that the U.S. exports democracy,” Sciutto told former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) on Monday’s broadcast of “Newsroom.”
“But when you watch this and how it was placed by the candidate who lost the election, who has a lot of ties, maybe say, with Donald Trump, is the denial of the election the new US export?” Sciutto said.
“We are the oldest democracy in the world. The rest of the world is watching us. Clearly, the rest of the world is watching us on January 6,” Walsh replied.
