Seven weeks ago, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed baby Esti via C-section.
Childbirth takes a toll on the body. A C-section only increases the pain and recovery time.
But the family is happy and healthy.
And, this week, she shared a picture of the mother and her baby enjoying some sweet, quiet time together.

Chrissy Teigen hasn’t held the position of Queen of Twitter for a long time. But she remains active on Instagram.
The 37-year-old mother of three took to the photo-sharing platform to show off 7-week-old Esti Maxine.
They have shared cute moments where the newborn baby is cooing while resting on the mother’s leg.

Esti now makes a family of five.
Luna, the first child, will be 7 years old next month. Do you feel old yet?
Miles, who is as famous as his famous father, is four and a half. Well, he’s still young enough where “half” counts.

On Wednesday, Chrissy shared a snap of herself cuddling with her two daughters.
After all, it’s International Women’s Day.
“My children,” she captioned the photo, and included a pair of red overlapping heart emojis.

Recently, John Legend gushed about how much he admires Chrissy. He felt surprised by his wife when he recovered from his Jan. 13 C-section.
“There’s still a lot to recover from,” he admits people at the time of the event.
“But,” the singer assessed, “he’s really good.”

“He’s really smart and strong,” John Legend said.
“And women go through so much to bring life into the world,” she praised. Indeed, pregnancy only takes a toll on the body – long before giving birth.
“And,” John later stated, “I was always in awe of him.”

“[It’s] It’s amazing,” John said of welcoming his precious baby.
“I’m just saying my kids are doing great,” she said.
“My older kids are really good with him,” she said of Luna and miles, “and [it] just fill the house with more love.”

Naturally, the question is whether he and Chrissy now have three children at home. But the answer may surprise people.
“I just think we’re more comfortable with ourselves and our parenting style and I’m more comfortable being a parent now,” she said.
John later admitted: “It’s easier to be brave than to say.”
