Chris Eubank Jr. can “flip the script” in a rematch with Liam Smith, said Harlem Eubank, a professional boxer himself who has observed his brother as closely with him in the build-up to the fight.
Smith stopped Eubank Jr with a fourth-round stoppage in a contest in Manchester in January.
But Harlem Eubank expects to see a very different approach from his brother in the rematch.

“I think Liam did a great performance. He came out and fought like it was the biggest fight of his life and he took the opportunity with both hands and put on a great display,” Eubank said. Sky Sports.
“Chris, I’ve been in the dressing room for a lot of fights and seen what his character was like before, the way he was. He didn’t look the same to me before that fight, for whatever reason, I don’t know. Only he knows.
“In the rematch I think he will do everything right and play the script. But you have to give Liam Smith credit for the performance he did. to credit him for the victory and how he came and did it.”

Eubank Jr’s promotional team is considering an appeal to the British Boxing Board of Control over the alleged elbow from Smith during the win.
He thinks Eubank Jr. carried the burden of promotion before the first fight.
“I think Chris provided a lot of promotion,” Eubank said. “Since Conor [Benn] build-up and take different people onside and enjoy playing your personality up against them.
“I think in the rematch it’s just a complete focus on the fight and really show what an animal he can be in the ring and take pressure off himself in the build-up and promotion.”
Tim Eubank Jr said that the elbow connected in the combination that defined Smith landed when he first dropped the Brighton star.

“People talk about elbows like a conspiracy,” Harlem Eubank reflected. “Does the elbow have an effect? Probably, if you take the elbow in combination it can have an effect.
“But at the same time if you can hide your elbows as a fighter, then why not do it? You’re fighting. So, there are a lot of old school fighters who do those dirty tricks, but that’s a skill in itself. You can ask for something like that.
“Was it accidental? I don’t think it’s that important. I’m boxing, it’s part of the game.”

On Tuesday, Eubank Jr. announced that he had activated his rematch clause for a second fight with Smith.
Harlem Eubank never doubted that he would.
“He’s a fighter. That’s how he wants to get it right. That’s his mentality,” he said.
“I think it’s a lot different for the rematch and I’m excited to see Chris because I know he’s up against Liam.”
