Word reached Mgosi Squad has suggested that Kaizer Chiefs are in talks with Andile Jali, who last month at Mamelodi Sundowns.

The defending DStv Premiership champions are yet to offer Jali a contract extension as his current deal expires at the end of the season.
Phakaaathi has tipped off Jali not against the idea of joining Chiefs, but wants to use his favorite squad number, 15, which he dons at Sundowns.

The 32-year-old used the same number at Orlando Pirates and Belgian side KV Oostende and in numerous Bafana Bafana appearances. However, Chiefs retired the No 15 jersey in honor of club legend Doctor Khumalo.
“To some, it might be seen as a squad number, but things like that have sentimental value for the players. If the Chiefs are serious about Jali, they should bend over backwards and give him the number 15 jersey, otherwise he can forget he’s in the team mentioned,” said a source close to Jali.
