Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp joked he would only talk about Chelsea’s spending with a lawyer when asked how he felt about the record-breaking January transfer window.
Backed by billionaire chairman and co-owner Todd Boehly, the Blues signed eight players last month and broke the English transfer record when they signed Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for £106.8m
It cost £323 million more than clubs in the top flight in Italy, Germany, France and Spain.
When asked about his thoughts on the west London club’s business, speaking at a press conference ahead of the Reds’ trip to Wolves, Klopp said: “I don’t say anything without my lawyer! No, I’m joking.
“I don’t know this part of the business, like what you can do and what you can’t do. They’re all very good players, so from that point of view, congratulations.
“I don’t know how it works, but obviously it’s not for me to explain how it works.
“It will happen at some point that they will play well together, but how fast, I don’t know.”

Guardiola: I know what will happen if it’s City
Manchester City have spent £1.1 billion since Pep Guardiola was appointed in the summer of 2016, helping them to four Premier League titles, four EFL Cups, an FA Cup and two Community Shields.
