Chelsea and Everton, two of Atsu’s former clubs, faced each other in the Premier League on Saturday, with the final game 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.
A statement from Chelsea said the shirts worn by the players and other items have been auctioned off to fund the completion of the school started by Atsu.
“The money collected will be sent to Arms Around the Child, a Christian ambassador charity, and will finance the completion of a school that has been started in Ghana,” he said. club announced.

Meanwhile, Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta added: “This initiative allows us to celebrate the life of Christian, a loved individual at the club and a person we miss very much.
“Christian’s wonderful personality shines through when we are together and any contribution to the auction will provide vital support to the legacy he has left behind.”
Atsu was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023, after his lifeless body was pulled from the rubble of an earthquake in Turkey.
It follows days of intense searches after earthquakes devastated Turkey and Syria in mid-February.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle United winger was laid to rest on Friday, March 17, 2022, in his hometown of Ada.
