Charity Lawson: I’m Already Smitten with My Potential Husbands!

Welp.

That didn’t last long.

About a week after she was officially named the next Bachelorette, Charity Lawson says she has found love.

Potentially, that is. He found it potential for love.

The former Bachelor suitor – who took Zach Shallcross home to meet her family this spring, only to be dumped by a tech executive – recently finished shooting the very first night of her season The Bachelorette.

You know one, right?

That one stud muffin after another out of a limousine, introduce himself Lawson and immediately try to sweep her off the feet?

How, exactly?

“It was great,” Charity told Entertainment Tonight about this unusual experience. “I’m a little dizzy. It’s definitely terrifying. I had a great group of boys… I laughed all night.”

While the 27-year-old admitted that she “went in with a little alarm that wanted to go off,” she confirmed to ET that her nerves “took the way” after meeting the contestants.

“It’s worth it,” Lawson said conquering fear and moving forward with her romantic journey.

After being named for this role in The Bachelor Women Tell All special a few days ago, Lawson told Jesse Palmer:

“I’ve been waiting forever to find the love of my life.

“It’s terrifying that I can meet my man and be engaged and literally have happiness.”

Just a day earlier, viewers witnessed Zach Shallcross send Lawson home after meeting her family in Georgia on Season 27 of The Bachelor.

During this city visit, Lawson told her future husband that she was “falling in love,” but the feeling was not reciprocated…

Charity Lawson has officially been named The Bachelorette! What a great choice!

However, he has calmed down, and seized the opportunity that was in front of him.

“To step into this role as the fourth woman of color and the second monoracial African American Bachelorette, it’s huge,” she told ET, adding:

“I definitely come in here with an open mind, an open heart, ready to return to love, I hope.

“I took the time to work on myself and was even more prepared for what I wanted to do, so I was ready.”

As for what he is looking for in a soulmate?

“Who can let go of their walls, be themselves and hold nothing back,” he says now.

As for the biggest deal breaker, Charity says it’s “dishonest,” summing up the topic:

“I think it’s a cliché, but honestly honesty is something I value in friends, relationships, all aspects of my life…
