Ghana’s Black Galaxy will face either Cameroon or Niger in the last eight of the 2022 African Nations Championship in Algeria.

The match will be played at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 7pm Ghana time.

This was confirmed after Madagascar beat Sudan 3-0 to top Group C.

Ghana finished second with 6 points, after a 3-1 win over Sudan and 3 points for Morocco to withdraw from the competition.

Annor Walker will be without their main striker, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who received a red card against Sudan.

Either Cameroon or Niger can choose the only qualifying slot from Group E when they face each other on Tuesday, January 24.

Cameroon beat Congo 1-0 to top the three-team group while Niger drew goalless with the Congolese.

The winner of Ghana’s quarter-final with Cameroon or Niger will face Algeria or Ivory Coast in the semi-finals.
