Dr Solomon Kwabi, CEO of Givers Herbal Center and producer of GC Mixture and other herbal capsules and products has resolved the confusion between Highlife legend, Daddy Lumba and gospel musician, Isaiah Ampong.
As part of settling the long-standing dispute, the CEO of Givers Herbal Center donated an undisclosed sum of money to Ampong.
The beef between the two music giants has been going on since 2018 but it was the release of a song by Daddy Lumba titled. The phone is a source of fo’ which is again a dispute.
Because of the content of the song, ‘The phone is the judge’which is accompanied by a stern warning to those who criticize, some people claim that the Lumba song is really aimed at anyone.
“Useless people, I’m not done with them,” said Daddy Lumba when he revealed the song on DL FM in December 2022.
The development reignited his long-standing beef with gospel singer, Isaiah Ampong, who said the diss song was aimed at him and had responded with a song. “God’s Reward”. Both have denied targeting each other though.
Dr Kwabi told journalists in an interview that it was time for the long-standing beef to end, so he decided to smoke a pipe of peace between them.
“I have a good relationship with Daddy Lumba and Ampong and the beef between them is not good for the music industry, so I decided to intervene to make peace.”
According to the Founder of Givers Herbal Centre, he has made a cash donation to Ampong to keep him as part of the peace process, especially when he (Ampong) continues to be angry about some GHC 360,000 proceeds from the alleged album launch, Lumba pocket money.
He was happy that Ampong accepted the offer and promised to end his beef with the highlife legend, Daddy Lumba.
On his part, Ampong praised the CEO of Givers Herbal Center for showing interest in resolving the beef issue, assuring that, he will not bump into Daddy Lumba again.
“Some big personalities in the country including pastors from the SDA Church have all spoken to me, in addition to the great role played by Dr Kwabi from Givers Herbal Center and I am very happy”, he added.
