Eat with celebs – or just feel the presence of the A-list – in New York’s celeb hot spot 9 Jones, “an intimate, sexy dinner club” located in the West Village.
The buzzy restaurant offers “Greek cuisine with a bespoke cocktail experience,” according to 9 Jones’ Instagram account, which features mouthwatering photos of bites and drinks. It is that “bespoke cocktail experience” that sets 9 Jones apart from its luxury competitors. Guests can create their own signature drink “customized to their taste,” reads the press release, complete with “caviar additions and caviar bumps to complement specific flavors.”

George and Amal Clooney, Spelling Tori, Sarah Silverman, Alan Cummings, Peyton’s List and Molly Ringwald only a few stars have dined in NYC restaurants – with some even choosing to host their own parties at luxury venues. At Ocean’s Eleven actor, 61, once threw a birthday bash for his wife at 9 Jones, when The Breakfast Club star, 55, also celebrated his birthday at the establishment.
For a sneak peek into the stunning space, the press release reveals that the hot spot “features gorgeous petrol blue walls accented with gold touches and plush velvet seating.” But for the “elite clientele” of 9 Jones, there is a private back section reserved only for the most important guests. “The back of the room, marked with velvet curtains, provides a hiding place … complete with a one-way mirror that looks out and a secret door.”
Soon, however, anyone who is a member of the private club 9 Jones can get the chance to chat over cocktails and caviar with New York’s finest Hollywood. “In the spring, the back room will be transformed into a private members’ club where members have the opportunity to rub shoulders with their favorite A-listers!” the press release stated.

While 9 Jones may sound very luxurious, it is only because it was created by the Nightlife and Hospitality giant behind 1Oak, Anywhere Nowhere, Queens Room and others. For even more of a celebrity touch, the NBA star Carmelo Anthony and Christian Vazquezfounder of the Famous Nobodys clothing line and La La Anthonyhis brother, he is an investor.
The overall feel of 9 Jones is inspired by English social clubs, according to the press release, combined with the classic “New York suburbs”.
