Real Housewives of Dubai star Caroline Stanbury and his wife, Sergio karallo, still plan to have children together. Just not yet.
While attending the opening of Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai at the weekend, Caroline revealed that while she and her ex-soccer pro husband had difficulty conceiving, she is now happy to have a viable and healthy embryo ready for implantation through IVF.
“We have a baby boy embryo on ice,” Caroline told Page Six.
The 46-year-old explained that she and Sergio, 28, were just waiting for their house renovations to be finished and for their blended family to settle down before embarking on their pregnancy journey.
Caroline has three children from a previous marriage Cem Habiba daughter named Yasmine, 16, and twins Zac and Harun, 12. This will be the first child with Sergio.
RHODubai fans have followed Caroline and Sergio’s close relationship as a couple who are close to 20 years apart in age was a hot topic throughout the debut season of the UAE-based franchise. Caroline’s co-star Chanel Ayan and read Milan especially take the issue with a couple of different ages.
Earlier, Chanel and Lesa called Caroline’s marriage to Sergio “a marriage of convenience.” Lesa specifically slammed Sergio for calling out his line of mother fashion in an emasculating post, admitting that he will wear and bear children in a relationship with Caroline.
Caroline staunchly defends her decision to marry and raise her family with Sergio. The couple got married in December 2021.
“I think it’s really sad that people think that a young man can’t fall in love with an older woman, it’s a lie, and there has to be something else,” he told Page Six in June 2022.
As previously reported, Caroline said she is not married, but added that marriage is “noble” and a way to “validate” her and Sergio’s relationship.
“In my mind, I will not get married. I’m fine. I’m good,” Caroline stated in the first appearance of RHODubaipremiere. “[But] many think he’s a playboy, you know what I mean? So, I think for him, to prove himself – ‘I’m a proper person, I’m not a playboy…’ I think he’s noble.
