In addition to considering Teresa’s current estrangement from Gorgas, explaining the long-running feud with her former castmate, and responding to Melissa saying she is “too old” to Real Housewives of New Jerseywhich before Melissa denied, Caroline claimed Teresa “conditioned” her to dislike Melissa and Kathy Wakile.
“Your guess is as good as mine,” Caroline began in the April 7 episode of Two T’s in a Pod when asked why he and Teresa don’t get along.
Then, thinking more, Caroline suspected that Teresa didn’t want to share the limelight.
“If we’re honest, in the past, and I’m talking about the glory days [RHONJ], it’s Caroline, Teresa, Caroline, Teresa — that everyone is talking about and you know he doesn’t like to share the light with anyone and I think that maybe he has a little bit of it,” Caroline explained. “But you’re talking to people who don’t know anything. I’m like ‘Go ahead. Take the light. You want it? Take it. Let’s all shine, I don’t care.'”
Although there are rumors claiming that the women were jealous in Punta Cana after Teresa molested their sons, Albie and Chris Manzoby spraying champagne in a nightclub, Caroline denies causing the feud, but admits to being disturbed by the behaviour.
“I’m confused about this,” Caroline said. “We were in Punta Cana and he, there was this big bottle of champagne and I remember standing in front of it. He was behind me and all of a sudden I was overwhelmed. [I’m like], ‘Why am I all wet?’ then I found out he sprayed champagne on the ground in the club. And someone takes offense there, one thing leads to another, before you know it there’s a fight.
Eventually, the group was jailed and Caroline’s children’s passports were revoked.
“We sat down for a week. It’s just repetitive behavior, it’s bad behavior that’s constantly being rewarded over and over again and this is the problem,” Caroline noted.
Then, after being asked if he believed Teresa and Gorgas, including his sister, Joe Gorgait’s over for good, Caroline said, “I think so.”
“I don’t know what happened. I know the cliffnotes of what happened, but there comes a point where you’re just going to be like, everyone has to be sick at this point,” he explained.
“Listen, I remember way, way, way back in the day, Melissa wasn’t wrong,” Caroline continued. “Over the years, he’s done some bad things, I’d imagine, but how much can he do before he starts to backslide?”
According to Caroline, Teresa has a long history of trash-talking Melissa (and Kathy Wakile), even made him think that Melissa was a bad person for many years.
“I remember many years before TV, before TV, there was always something bad about Melissa, that we didn’t like her when we met her and I apologized to her and Kathy because we were conditioned, almost brainwashed. , to not like her those people before we met them, we were treated poorly when we first came to the show,” he recalled. “I apologized to both of them, said, ‘That’s not cool,’ but I was conditioned to think that way.”
As for Melissa said she is “too old” to go back to RHONJCaroline revealed, “she said that,” before telling Tamra and Teddi that she’s not mad at her former castmate.
“But I don’t hate him for saying it,” he clarified. “At that time, I was 20 years older than him … You don’t want to stay with that when you are 30 … I remember he said and I remember being disturbed for half a second again and then because I slightly heard it through the door .. . It’s a 30-year-old kid talking. So me [took] I didn’t take offense to it then and I don’t take offense to it now. Stupid.”
