Caroline Manzo has finally broken her silence in regard to her early exit from Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip the fourth season.
Almost two months after the former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville accused of flooding the The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum with unwanted kisses and touching her private area, Caroline said that she wanted to do “something fun” by joining the series Peacock not “can’t.”
“I can’t say much, just because it’s not good for my head space, but it took a lot for me to come back. [on a Housewives show],” Caroline explained New York Livevia PEOPLE, March 20.
“[I was] come back with the best intentions, with the highest hopes, to do something fun. Unfortunately, I can’t be like that,” she said. “I came home early. And at this point, I really don’t have room in my head to talk about it. So, I’d rather not, but I would imagine that it will open up in the series when it airs and there will be a lot to talk about.
According to Caroline, she spent time with her co-star Vicki Gunvalson, Gretchen Rossi, Eva Marcella, Phaedra’s Garden, Camille Meyerand Alex McCord in Marrakesh, Morocco, was not what he expected. And according to reports at the time, it was because of his interaction with Brandi.
“It’s not expected,” the source told PEOPLE RHOBA alum who allegedly made sexual advances. “And Caroline’s distress over the matter doesn’t seem to have stopped Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries were allegedly crossed that Caroline felt was serious and uncomfortable.
Although Brandi apologized to Caroline about the morning text message after realizing she was upset, production reported the incident and Brandi was “asked to leave.”
“The safety and security of the cast and crew during filming is extremely important and we take all reports very seriously,” Peacock and Shed Media said in a joint statement to PEOPLE. “In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and took appropriate action.”
Meanwhile, Brandi denied her claims against him.
“Brandi has been forbidden to show her side of the story and in turn, people only hear the unsubstantiated version,” she said, through the rep. “Brandi maintains her innocence and vehemently denies any wrongdoing.”
Although Caroline could not say much about what went down on the plane RHUGT until the upcoming season, sister-in-law and ex RHONJ his girlfriend Jacqueline Laurita confirmed that he was “unwell” during a podcast appearance last month.
“It was very traumatizing,” Jacqueline said The truth with the King. “I didn’t push too hard. I just want to know that he’s okay because it’s real … I think he likes to beat him or something happens … I think it’s really hard for him.”
Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season three premieres on the Peacock. There is no word on a premiere date for season four.
