Not on the same page! Kyle Cookefrustrated with Carl Radke through the drama of work in Loverboy – and the toll on friendship – come to a head when they spend the weekend two in Summer House.
However, the tension remains alive during the Monday, February 20, episode of the Bravo series. his house Danielle Olivera confirmed that he had returned Carl during the episode … even though Kyle, 40, said he had no idea what was happening.
Fans first got a taste of Kyle and Carl’s awkward relationship during the February 13 season 7 premiere, when the Loverboy founder admitted that she thought Carl, 38, wanted to leave her role as VP of sales after they started dating. friend Lindsay Hubbard. (Carl confirmed in February that he no longer works for Kyle.)
“I talked to him about a month ago about his job. I’m not going to lie. … The reason I’m a little irked is that nothing has changed behind me,” Kyle said. Mya Allen there was an episode, hinting that Carl’s problems in the company were not new. “I need to talk to Carl and I think you need to talk to Lindsay. Let’s face our demons. … Just kidding.”
Mya – who rocked Lindsay, 36, during the season premiere of her friendship with Carl – laughed: “I think demons are a good fit.”
When Mya, 31, and Lindsay agreed to “coexist” in Friday’s episode, Kyle and Carl’s conversation seems to be just the tip of the iceberg of problems for longtime friends.
“Some days I’m angry. I’m like fk, I’ve worked my ass off and it’s not good enough,” Carl told Kyle about his role in Loverboy. “Sometimes I don’t feel appreciated.”
Kyle, for his part, told the camera that he did not buy the sudden change in Carl’s work ethic and allegedly felt undervalued. “I’m bull-t. Carl is happy,” the Maryland native admitted. “Loverboy has given him purpose, at a time when, frankly, he didn’t have one.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Carl angers Kyle when he chooses not to tell his co-workers, including his boss and BFF, about his trip to Los Angeles until a few days before his flight. As a result, Carl and Lindsay were not in the Hamptons for the second weekend of summer, but Kyle felt his presence – and lack of respect – across the country.
“My team works hard. … As far as I’m concerned, they are not part of. They have been checked out,” Kyle told Mya from Carl during a group dinner when the salesman was away in LA” When I hired him he was unhireable. [He] show up to work drunk. He showed up one day so coked out that he didn’t bring a computer to work. … The world needs to know, I am a boss who knows enough.
Danielle, meanwhile, heard that Kyle apparently threw Carl under the bus and called him out on the table. “Kyle, I don’t want you to sit there now. I hear every word you say about Carl and f-king pisses me off,” Danielle, 34, said. “What you’re saying now is completely unfair.”
