Below Deck Mediterranean star Captain Sandy Yawn has been at the center of an online debate after he released the stew Camilla Lamb without consultation Captain Lee Rosbach first. This happened when he filled her in the 10th season of Below Dec.
While participating in a live-tweeting session during the previous episode of the show, Captain Lee said that Captain Sandy showed a “lack of procedure and respect” when he did not hint at his decision to let Camille go, even though he insisted that he would have. done the same.
“If I had temporarily replaced Captain Sandy on the boat and felt the need to fire one of the crew, I would call him first to let him know what I did and why. I agree with his decision, just not how he did it,” Captain Lee tweeted after the episode aired.
Now, it seems that Captain Sandy is responding to Captain Lee’s criticism of his leadership style. He tweeted a meme on Tuesday, January 24, about taking the high road when someone treats you poorly.
“If someone treats you badly, remember that there is something wrong with them, not you. Normal people don’t go around hurting others,” the meme read.

The next day, Captain Sandy tweeted another quote that read, “Hurt people hurt others, but fortunately people can heal others…”

Sandy’s post was ignored by avid Below Deck fans, who were quick to try and make a connection between the time of Captain Sandy’s tweets and Captain Lee’s comments.
“I hope this isn’t directed at Captain Lee,” one fan commented.
And apparently, according to Captain Sandy, no. He replied, “It’s not aimed at anyone,” and, “it’s a meme, it’s not about anyone.”
However, some aren’t buying Sandy’s claim that the post isn’t personal.
“Pretty sure it’s another male/female captain issue,” another fan hypothesized. “Captain Lee didn’t support Captain Sandy and now he’s going public for the jugular. Nice way to return the favor. No!”
A third user has Captain Sandy about an unexpected problem.
“Yes Captain Sandy! I don’t like how Captain Lee is trashing your decisions all night on social media. This should be a personal call to you if they feel strongly about it [about it].”
Captain Lee has noted that the only reason he made the announcement about Sandy was because he was the one who made the decision to fire Camille on national television.
“He did it on TV in front of a crowd without asking me. It doesn’t sound very personal to me at all,” he replied to fans on Twitter.
Captain Lee will return to St. David and catching up with Captain Sandy later this season, which he teased in the midseason trailer for Below Dec.
Below Deck airs Monday nights at 8pm EST on Bravo.
