Candiace Dillard-Bassett not very happy when studying Porsha Williams will change Tinsley Mortimer at Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season three.
Ahead of the premiere there is the Peacock series, which is based out of Thailand The Real Housewives of Potomac star said about her long-running feud with Real Housewives of Atlanta alum while also shading Gizelle Bryant and slamming Alexia Echevarria and Marysol Patton to speak ill of Leah McSweeneywhich he applauded as the MVP of RHUGT.
“Immediately it was like, ‘Oh my gosh, Porsha and Candiace are going to have beef,'” Candiace recalled during a March 22 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “And I was like, ‘I don’t want to have any beef with Porsha!'”
As fans can remember, Porsha said ill of Candiace after her season 5 met with Monique Samuels.
“I knew it was going to be a point of contention. So, it was a little scary, but I’m glad Porsha came because she’s great television,” Porsha said.
In the preview of RHUGT season three, Candiace targets Porsha by asking her about her relationship with her husband Simon Guobadiawho was previously married to a friend and ex RHO co-star Falynn Pina. However, as he explained, he really likes Porsha, whom he will marry in November 2022.
“I always say, when I meet Porsha, I like her. She looks like my girl. Like, girl, like a fun girl. And then this happened in season 5, and it was bad, but we got to a place which is good in Thailand,” she said. “I know him.”
That said, Candiace does not exactly love that Porsha is close to Gizelle, although she does not know the extent of the claims Gizelle made to her husband, Chris Bassettin the middle RHOP season seven.
“Thailand didn’t end well for me and Gizelle,” Candiace said. “It really just cemented what I was going to learn later when I was watching it Potomacand when we get to the reunion… He proves himself to be exactly who he is in the end Girls Trip.”
Besides the problems with Gizelle, Candiace is not in a good place either Robyn Dixon. In fact, when he had approached her RHOP castmate, which has been on fire to maintain John DixonCommunicating with another woman in the middle of season seven, Robyn has not responded.
“I can be disappointed in him and also empathize with where he is, and where I am, but he slowly shows where we are in friendship, and I know how to take a hint – and if I take a hint, I’m lonely,” she noted .
In light of recent news of Juan losing his job as basketball coach at Coppin State University amid accusations of failing to handle sexual misconduct allegations, Candiace said she was “really sad” for the family.
“Maybe he knew it would be like this, and he would end up losing his job, but he gave it to us in a different way. So, for me, I’m very surprised, and for his children, it’s very painful, and I still want him to be healthy and I pray that this does not have long-lasting effects on his career and reputation, because it is powerful,” Candiace stated.
As RHOP fans have also heard, Gizelle recently said that she did not mention Juan’s missteps RHOP because he “forgot” the incident.
“Only, as an audience member, I would be insulted,” Candiace said in response.
Looking back at her time RHUGTCandiace said Gizelle’s biggest “disappointment” was when Leah was MVP.
“I’m going to give it to Leah, because homegirl – for me, my worst nightmare is to go and be hospitalized,” she said, giving a nod to the health crisis Leah went through in Thailand. “Being 12,000 hours away from home and being hospitalized and still wanting to go and come back and be a part of that journey? Leah, she won.”
Candiace is a big fan of Leah and is not happy to hear that Alexia, Marysol, and Gizelle say they don’t want to travel anymore.
“You’re horrible!” Candiace replied. “You are all haters! That is very disgusting. Leah is a fun girl. He’s just- so, Gizelle bothers him all the time, Porsha helps. Alexia and Marysol were silent. He just hates it. I don’t mean it, ask again.”
Also during the interview, Candiace admitted to feeling “embarrassed” and “embarrassed” after her and him. RHUGT castmates were called out by their host.
“I want to hide my face, because someone is kind and sweet, we ran home and they read us for impurity!” he shared. “Yes … we are all really embarrassed.
