Camille Lamb seems to have pulled a 180 after unleashing hostility towards Below Deck. This season, the stew/deckhand was accused of not carrying his weight and was seen drinking on the job. His main beef with Alyssa Humberwho constantly asks him to do basic tasks, prompting pushback from Camille.
The star was fired after the main boil Fraser Olender caught him with alcohol on shift. When the episode aired, Camille went on the defensive, admitting that the situation felt like a ‘set-up’ and saying the producers were involved. He slammed the ‘narrative’ about his termination, and he said that he had previously been drinking because he gave alcohol in a confessional interview.
Now, on her Instagram story, Camille appears to be backtracking on her stance on the show.
“I want to come in here and say thank you very much Below Deck community, to Below Deck cast, to Below Deck producer,” Camille said with a smile. She even mentioned the production company.
“I just don’t want to come across like I’m not grateful and thankful for the opportunity and it’s a lot of fun,” the star said. “I’m very happy with everyone I work with.”
He went on to say, “It didn’t end the way I wanted it to, but hell it makes for good TV, so fuck it.”
Camille added, “But I just want to say thank you to everyone.” He also teased that he is “very excited” for the next chapter, and that he wishes him “the best.”
“Best wishes from Camille,” he ended the post, blowing a kiss.
What caused this change in attitude? Perhaps someone reminded him of his Bravo contract — or he’ll be back next season. As Camille admits herself, she came out strange there is ‘good TV.’
Below Deck Season 10 airs Friday nights at 8 pm EST on Bravo.
