Flying High
That has been very evident this season as the Clarets are flying high at the top of the table, with former Manchester City and Belgium defender Kompany doing an excellent job at Turf Moor.
“I’m very happy here, I’m blessed and grateful for the opportunity and I can’t wait to get started,” Foster said, according to Burnley’s official website.
“From the moment I heard there was interest from Burnley, my heart and head were in the club. I’m very happy now. It’s a dream for me.
Burnley are now five points clear of Sheffield United at the top of the Championship and 18 ahead of third-placed Watford, with the top two in the table guaranteed promotion to the Premier League.
The Clarets’ next game is an FA Cup fourth-round tie at Ipswich this weekend, before continuing their league campaign at Norwich on February 4.
