Building On Human Ingenuity, Bitcoiners Are Fixing The Fragmented World

While global elites control their finances through CBDCs, Bitcoiners show the human passion that can be achieved through self-sovereignty.

This is an editorial opinion by Nozomi Hayase, Ph.D., who has a background in psychology and human development.

In mid-January, global leaders boarded private jets to the luxury ski resort in the Swiss city of Davos for the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) conference.

Under the theme “Cooperation in a Fractured World,” 52 heads of state and many company CEOs, along with famous celebrities and social activists, spoke about how to manage the risks we will face in the next decade. Issues such as the cost of living and climate change, along with the war in Ukraine, are placed at or near the top of the agenda.

U.S. Climate Envoy John Kerry praised his fellow participants, saying, “It’s incredible that we – a select group of human beings …

At the opening ceremony of the five-day planning meeting, Klaus Schwab, executive chairman of the WEF, said, “Through collective responsibility, innovation, human will and ingenuity, we have the capacity to turn challenges into opportunities.”

CBDC and Programmable Money

One of the main initiatives of the WEF is to strengthen global cooperation by creating a collaborative village in the Metaverse, with the help of Microsoft. By involving all the stakeholders of society, the plan is to create a new digital economy.

Central bank digital currency (CBDC) plays a critical role in the infrastructure it envisions. This form of digital fiat money, overseen by the country’s central bank, gives the issuer total control, as it can monitor and limit transactions. Combined with the worldwide adoption of digital IDs, CBDC could be used to create a China-style social credit scoring system.

Under the slogan “financial inclusion,” the IMF today push CBDCs are a central piece of infrastructure. This special financial agency of the United Nations aims to make a centralized digital currency an instrument for governments and the private sector to implement targeted policies such as consumption coupons and welfare programs.

Major technology companies and financial institutions are also coming. At the WEF annual meeting, Bank of America hailed CBDC as the future of money. IBM also embraced him. But as hand-raised global elite in Davos, with the climate emergency message, now trying to bring the public to a universal digital payment network, we have an alternative.

Pleb-Powered Network

Created after the 2008 global financial crisis, bitcoin is the hardest form of money we’ve ever seen. By removing the need to trust a central authority, this breakthrough in computer science allowed for censorship resistance.

Bitcoin’s innovative economic incentives, aligning everyone’s personal interests, have organically begun to re-engineer the economy. We are now seeing this happening in the Southern United States. Texas recently became the Bitcoin capital of the world. Abundant energy and low electricity rates (the majority from renewable sources), along with friendly regulations, have turned the country into a global mining hub. This has helped accelerate energy innovation and produce a skilled workforce.

By celebrating the birth of this freedom of money, Bitcoiners began to connect with each other. In the beautiful city of Austin, strengthened by the protocol, orange locals have begun to actively collaborate to create a strong foundation for the economy.

PlebLab_ provides resources and support for new business development, as well as hosting local meetups and other events. A similar trend is happening around the world.

Economic Freedom of El Salvador

In El Salvador, even before the country officially adopted Bitcoin, ordinary people have been working together to build on top of Bitcoin. In a small surfing town with a population of 3,000, supported by bitcoin donations from early adopters (who wish to remain anonymous), the Bitcoin Beach project was launched to create a resilient local economy.

The grassroots effort in El Zonte inspired El Salvador to become the first country to legalize bitcoin as legal tender in September 2021. Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, has now become one of the most famous Bitcoiners. At the age of 41, he realized the importance of this discovery.

Adam Back, cryptographer quoted in Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin white paper, acknowledge El Salvador’s adoption of Bitcoin is the original “orange pilling of the country”.

Bukele, who has an approval rating of over 80%, aims to create financial inclusion by expanding the freedom that Bitcoin allows, seeing it as the birthright of every individual. With the policy of economic freedom, Bukele began to fight against the financial dictatorship of the IMF, thus helping the country to claim its independence and sovereignty.

El Salvador has won. It is on the way to freedom. The president recently declare that the country paid off its full $800 million debt despite mainstream media saying it would default due to bitcoin investment.

Bukele effect

In the crisis of Western liberal democracy triggered by government corruption, the world is now seeing a great leader emerging from a small country in Central America, with a population of about 6.5 million.

Volcanic blonde, fairy godmother and guardian of the vision, Stacy Herbert, together with her partner Max Keizer, has helped orange-pill the world. As a new resident of El Salvador, he is now focused on helping El Salvador’s efforts to adopt Bitcoin.

In an interview on “Bitfinex Talk,” Herbert described Bukele as the father of hyperbitcoinization and talked about the art of statesmanship. Characterizing him as the second layer on top of Bitcoin, he explained how the president brought laws to protect the rights of his people.

Under the leadership of President Bukele, the rule of law has been restored in El Salvador. The country with the highest homicide rate in the world is now rapidly transforming into a place everyone wants to be.

Human Will

The economic freedom secured by Bitcoin, then followed by Bukele, has begun to enable widespread human will. As the road to economic prosperity has opened, capital has begun to flow into this previously impoverished Central American country. Now it has encouraged innovation and entrepreneurship.

Using Bitcoin as a powerful philanthropic tool, companies can engage in charitable assistance to provide services to those in need. Paxful, the leading, global peer-to-peer platform, has created an educational center in El Salvador providing resources and equal opportunities to create real financial inclusion.

Paul Arduinochief technology officer at Bitfinex, a leading digital asset trading platform, as well invest in local education efforts in El Salvador. In addition to advocating for Bitcoin, he is currently building technology that can secure the privacy and freedom of expression required by universal human rights.

Unlike the centralized Metaverse virtual space run by tech giants, Keet is a peer-to-peer chat application built without a central server and can integrate Bitcoin. It allows ordinary people around the world to create their own collaborative villages and control communications.

Orange-Pill Party

El Salvador has now become the main country for hyperbitcoinization. The government has established a National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC). It recently passed the digital securities law which is a landmark law that creates a legal framework for all non-bitcoin digital assets, as well as those issued in Bitcoin.

The relentless optimism that has grown in this country of Bitcoin is now gathering people from all over the world.

On January 30, 2023, Keizer and Herbet, the happy OG Bitcoin couple, host event in El Zonte to celebrate El Salvador’s victory. Tickets are already sold out, with over 100 people on the waiting list. Bitcoiners from dozens of countries flew in to join the orange party.

At the event, Mi Primer Bitcoin, a non-profit educational organization in El Salvador purple 0.65 bitcoin with whiskey bottle auction. The fund will support the world’s first Bitcoin diploma project.

This kind of community collaboration brings people joy and love. Memes and the art that inspires them, is what revives culture, giving birth to a new global civil society.

Bitcoin can fix our broken world. Fueled by human creativity, it transforms an economy driven by greed and selfish ambition into an economy that carries altruistic impulses that promote human well-being.

Now, we, Bitcoiners, a network of sovereign individuals, can show the world how we can exercise shared responsibility. With innovation, will and ingenuity, we can face the challenge of creating life, freedom and the pursuit of happiness for all.
