In the week since Bryan Kohberger‘s arrest, we have learned the police have a surprising amount of evidence against criminology students. But if he is really guilty of brutal murder than Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Magen, Xana Kernodleand Ethan Chapinwhat’s the motive??
The search for an explanation for this heinous crime has led investigators – police and press alike – to look for any connection between Kohberger, a 28-year-old PhD student at Washington State Universityand four undergrads in the University of Idaho crossing the border in Moscow, Idaho.
One thing seems clear: Kohberger is there. We learned from the affidavit because it is possible that the cell phone data proves that they are close to where they passed and passed. But how to approach him??

Well, according to a new report, he at least visited his workplace. And more than once. Maddie and Xana work as servers in a restaurant called the Mad Greek. A former employee told people they remember to come at least twice; they said they ordered a vegan pizza. What remains unclear is if a young woman was waiting for him, or if she was there when he stopped by. people confirmed through investigative sources that the police have spoken to co-workers, as well as collected surveillance footage from the restaurant.
But it is not certain where he first saw it. According to another report from the outlet, Kohberger followed three female victims — Maddie, Xana, and Kaylee — in the Instagram. There are several accounts posing as Kohberger, but according to people the real one has been erased – as is often the case with murder suspects. But before it was taken down, the mag confirmed he was following three girls.
This comes days after claims from inside sources that he repeatedly texted one of the young women, although he would not say which one. An investigative insider explains:
“Basically, he just said, ‘Hey, how are you?’ But he did it again and again.
The victim was apparently unresponsive. If Kohberger was frustrated, he didn’t show it, the source said — he kept trying. But whoever the girl was, she probably never saw the message. Investigative sources said they were “still trying to determine whether the victims knew of his existence.”
As has been reported, the young women seem to have understood the stalker situation. He told her that someone was following Kaylee – leading her to travel in a large group if possible. Is Kohberger a person? Is Kaylee the girl you text repeatedly?
So many questions remain to be answered…
