The 44-year-old’s post came shortly after the same day, where she shared a photo of a bouquet of flowers for her current 14th wedding anniversary. Explaining its importance, he wrote:
“Today marks 14 years of marriage with the greatest love of my life. I woke up with a full heart but my mind kept going back to other people’s acts of kindness yesterday I wanted to share as inspiration heck out of me. While going through a school event for the kids, I told my friend that it was her birthday tomorrow. Cut to, I get a text from a friend later that day who says he left ‘a little something’ for me at the door. Here’s a sweet bouquet of flowers (pictured) with a note saying Happy Anniversary among other things.
He was frank:
“It made me think about how difficult these types of ‘special events’ are for caregivers. While normally our people would recognize these events, now the changing brain can’t. And that’s what it is. So my point is this. If you know someone who cares for someone else, don’t ask them what they can do, just do it. This random act of kindness will stay with me for a long time.
