Bruce Willis‘ the family is feeling a lot of emotions on the first birthday since the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
The actor celebrated his 68th birthday on Sunday. And while this should be a special and happy occasion, her husband, Emma Hemingto be real Instagram about feeling “sad” and “sad” today because of the dementia diagnosis. He said in an emotional video:
“Today is my husband’s birthday. I have started this morning with tears as you can see from my swollen eyes and snotty nose. I just think it’s important that you see all sides of this. I always get this message or people always say to me, ‘Oh, you’re so strong. I don’t know how you do it.’ I wasn’t given a choice. I want to, but I also raised two children in this.

Emma continued:
“Sometimes in our lives, we have to put on the big girl panties and get it. And that’s what I did. But I have moments of sadness, every day, sadness every day, and I feel it today on her birthday.
The 44-year-old model later noted that making the birthday tribute video for Bruce felt “like a knife in my heart,” but she noted, “like I did it for myself, I did it for you because I know how much you love my husband.” After pausing to tell herself not to “cry,” she concludes the video by saying:
“But it means a lot to me, thank you.”

He later noted how “easy days” were for him, explaining:

Sorrow is the price I will pay to know what it is to feel love. I send love to anyone who has ever felt the capacity to do so with great love and grief. I love you.”
Tallulah Willis also wrote on Insta along with some photos of his father:
