Earlier this week, we reported news that members of Britney Spears’ circle had planned an intervention for the singer in response to recent concerns about substance abuse and mental health issues.
The plan was scrapped when Britney found out about the intervention and chose not to participate.
Spears agreed to meet with a doctor who specializes in addiction treatment the next day, which was Wednesday.
But according to a new report from TMZ, they have not yet agreed to the full treatment program that their loved ones want.

Now, sources involved in the planning of the intervention have spoken to TMZ.
And it seems he is very worried about Britney’s health and future.
“The intervention is long overdue. He is very dangerous for himself and the people around him. It is a ticking time bomb. Thank God, finally someone has taken some steps to do this,” said one of the insiders.

“I’m worried about waking up in the morning and feeling like I’m going to get a horrible phone call,” added another.
“It’s 2008 again. There’s a lot of fear that he’s going to die or kill someone,” said a third supporter.

“He was blaming it on caffeine, Adderall, and whatever else he could get his hands on,” she said.
“He does not take medication, which is important to stabilize his mood and accidentally tries to take other drugs, which causes mental illness.”
“He has trauma that cannot be treated with the help of therapists and specialists to put him in a better place. Intervention is essential for this to happen,” a fourth insider told the outlet.

Multiple sources have revealed to TMZ that this is a tense time in the Britney household.
Many of the pop icon’s supporters are angry that the intervention was not carried out.
Those same people are said to be terrified of what could happen to Britney if she continues on her current path.

Spears denied reports of the intervention, saying they were a blatant fabrication by TMZ and other media outlets.
“It makes me sick to my stomach, it’s even legal for people to make up a story that I almost died… I mean at some point enough is enough!!!” Britney wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
“Maybe I should stop posting on Instagram because even though I love doing it, obviously a lot of people don’t want me to be good!!!” he added.

“I’m honestly not surprised…again doing the best I can!!!”
Clearly, TMZ is standing by, and the quotes it published today seem to be the site’s way of doubling down on recent claims about Britney’s mental health.
We will have more updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.
