Bristol Palin has opened up about something personal and painful.
On Wednesday, the 32-year-old mother of three uploaded a photo to her Instagram Story where she can be seen wearing a compression bra with surgical drains filled from her latest breast reconstruction surgery.

Because Palin explained that it was the ninth procedure to correct the “botched” reduction at the age of 19.
“It’s okay [too much information] now, but had her 9th breast reconstruction surgery last night – yes, NINTH,” wrote the former Dancing with the Stars contestant.
“It all came from a botched breast reduction when I was 19 [years old].
“I had surgery before to try to correct the early damage of the muscle tissue and the scaring was terrible.
“The whole situation has really made me very self-aware throughout my adulthood.”
Bristol, of course, is the daughter of former US Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Todd Palin.
She appeared for one season as a cast member on Teen Mom OG, a decision she later regretted.
“The whole situation honestly made me very self-aware of all my adulthood,” Bristol continued this week.
“Praying this is the last surgery I need – I don’t like to be a complainer, but this is really reviving/resting and that’s why I’ve been pretty MIA – trying my hardest to stay positive, cheer myself up, and remind myself. thank you very much:
“I’m healthy, I’m capable, and it’s just uncomfortable because things could have been worse.”
Palin concluded the message by asking her followers to send her recommendations on shows to watch and “funny memes because I’m already distracted.”
The former MTV personality has opened up on her social media feed before about pictures of her body from past surgeries.
In March 2021, for example, he shared a video showing a scar from his stomach that he said he got years ago.
“Come on for a second. I’m posting what I want you to see. From a decent angle… and not from an insecurity/scar,” Palin wrote in the video reel.
“That’s something I didn’t tell you,” Bristol said, stretching out her lower abdomen to show her scars.
“222 easy way to compare yourself here, just a reminder don’t,” Palin captioned the post, writing in the video: “Don’t let this place you compare your worth and steal your joy.”
Palin is the mother of three children: Tripp, 14; Sailors, 7; and Atlee, 5.
As you know, she is single, after breaking up with her latest boyfriend in 2019.
