Melissa Gorga and his wife, Joe Gorgarecently received a slap on the wrist from Bravo.
During a recent episode of his PodcastOne series, the The Real Housewives of New Jersey star opened up about the latest season of the Bravo reality series, season 13, noting that Bravo issued a gag order to her and her friends for “the first time”.
“We got a joke order for the first time because it’s Bravo. Let’s tell the truth,” said Joe in In Display. “We’ve been on this show for 13 years and we’ve never been in a joke message through Bravo. We’ve never said that you can’t talk about the show, you can’t talk about anything. You can’t send anything back about the show .
“We’re all getting a little slap on the wrist because for some reason this season is so kooky, it’s like the first time this has happened and it’s been really weird this year,” Melissa added. “Everything is different and like, just everything is like, different.”
According to Melissa and Joe, Bravo approached members of the show, demanding that they not discuss the current season on their social media pages.
“Something is different!” Joe added a season.
As RHONJ fans also know, Melissa and Joe have been in the middle of controversy in recent months after the massive falling out they suffered with Theresa Judge during the season finale taping. And since the 13th season began airing last month, all parties have been very vocal about the drama between them – including Giudice’s daughters, who accused Gorgas of failing to be there during their mother’s incarceration.
There has also been a lot of tension surrounding the topic of Teresa and Luis Ruelas‘ August 2022 wedding, which Gorgas chose to skip after the finale debacle, and is expected to air in the coming weeks.
When the Gorgas and Giudices have feuded on and off for years, many have believed that this relationship was irretrievably broken during season 13. And when discussing the potential reconciliation of the future in the past, Teresa has not seemed open to the idea – or has Melissa.
“I think we need time. I’m like Joe and I’ve had enough. We’re tired and sometimes the family needs space and now, we need space,” he admitted to E! News at the end of last year.
