Brandi Glanvillelawyer ‘s demanded the release of the audio recording of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Tripwhich allegedly proved Brandi didn’t bother her friend, Caroline Manzo.
Recently, Caroline reportedly claimed Brandi touched her without consent in the genital area and breasts while off-camera in Morocco. This triggered an investigation by the production company.
According to Page Six, Brandi’s lawyer sent a letter demanding that Warner Bros. (which owns Shed Media, the production company that makes the Peacock show) release the video and audio tapes.
The lawyer said that Shed Media should immediately release the audio recordings from the castmates’ microphones to show that Caroline’s allegations are not justified.
“It is absolutely unacceptable that your company knowingly and knowingly allowed such a story to be captured in the media, without regard to the truth or the impact on Ms. Glanville’s reputation,” the lawyer said. Duncan P. Levin, Esq. through a letter written to Warner Bros. researchers Samantha MirabelloWarner Bros. attorneys Demian KulonEsq., and Shed’s SVP of programming and development Lisa Shannon.
Caroline has not commented publicly on the allegations.
The lawyer said the decision not to show the footage amid news reports was a “cynical ploy for ratings.”
For weeks, Brandi and Caroline’s supporters have insisted that the audio recording will verify their version of what happened.
According to the letter, Duncan demanded that Warner Bros. release the audio now.
According to the allegations, Brandi, Caroline, and two other co-stars entered the bathroom, where Brandi allegedly pinned her against the wall and touched her inappropriately through her clothes.
“In that bathroom, as the audio will confirm, there is nothing inappropriate or illegal. As you know both of you [investigation] and the audio and video you have, four women wash their hands before returning to the party where they enjoy eating and talking,” wrote Duncan. “During it, Ms. Manzo seemed very happy and didn’t telegraph anything that he wanted Ms. Glanville left his side. Overall, the whole incident consisted of some flirting and kissing between Ms. Manzo and Ms. Glanville, and it was all mutual and consensual.
The document says that the studio “is aware that three witnesses have confirmed their actions; yet, Shed Media and Warner Brothers have [sic] choose to sit back and let this false narrative continue.
Castmates Gretchen Rossi and Alex McCord identified as the two witnesses in the letter. The third witness is not yet clear.
According to the letter, Caroline in no way discouraged Brandi from the alleged touching, this was “outspoken about her liberal views on sex,” and there let the co-star touch her breasts to show they were not implanted.
“Not only did the eyewitness ask Ms. Manzo if she was OK, to which she responded with a smile and a thumbs up, but, after the alleged bathroom incident, when the group returned to the dinner table,” Duncan said, “Ms. Manzo made a light-hearted comment told eyewitnesses about having kissed a girl before but never ‘kissed back’ until now.
“The night was one that your own producer, who earlier in the day, encouraged Ms. Glanville to bring ‘excitement’ to the party,” Duncan said. “When Ms. Manzo arrived at the main house, the two women were together, having fun, laughing, and dancing with other women. It goes without saying that you provide non-stop alcohol and an environment where participants drink and smoke marijuana all day long.
The document confirms that Brandi was sent home by Shed, who – after knowing the star was innocent – “now tried to insinuate that Ms. Glanville engaged in sexual harassment with a completely different individual, the producer” to justify Brandi’s exit from him. RHUGT.
The outlet previously reported that Brandi allegedly expressed a desire to have sex with the producer. The star has repeatedly denied the allegations.
Duncan added that Shed “instructed Glanville not to seek legal representation or attempt to correct the public record.” The instructions, according to the lawyer, are “unacceptable” and “disturbing”.
Page Six said reps for Shed Media, NBCUniversal, Warner Bros., and Caroline declined to comment.
