Brandi Glanville is staunchly denied any wrongdoing as an internal investigation by Peacock is being conducted after the former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star allegedly made unwanted advances towards her Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip star, Caroline Manzowhile filming the fourth season of the franchise in Marrakech, Morocco.
After being removed from RHUGT in the middle of filming, Brandi is set to appear in a reunion for her other Peacock show, The Traitors. However, according to his representative, the ongoing investigation “prohibited” him from attending.
“Brandi wanted nothing more than to be involved The Traitors reunion,” Brandi told PEOPLE. “This is one of Brandi’s favorite projects.”
“Brandi has been forbidden to show her side of the story and in one, people only hear the unsubstantiated version,” the statement continued. “Brandi maintains her innocence and vehemently denies any wrongdoing.”
The Traitors The reunion was hosted by none other than former Housewives boss Brandi, Andy Cohenwho spoke about Brandi’s absence at the reunion quickly and simply said, “Unfortunately [Brandi’s] can’t join us tonight.”
Last month, a source told the outlet that Brandi had repeatedly crossed “physical boundaries” with Caroline and that her advances were “unwanted.”
“Caroline’s distress over the matter doesn’t seem to have stopped Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries were allegedly crossed that Caroline felt was serious and uncomfortable,” the source said.
Allegedly, Brandi tried to patch things up with Caroline the next day by sending her a text message apologizing for her actions. But it was to no avail, and Peacock executives made the decision to remove Brandi from filming altogether. The alleged altercation left Caroline feeling so uncomfortable that she decided to leave the show early.
“The safety and security of the cast and crew during filming is very important, and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, the production immediately launched a full review and took appropriate action,” said a representative of Merak in a statement at the time.
