The move may come as a surprise to some. But apparently, there is a big reason behind the decision to sell the company to the 59-year-old actor…
according to Page Six there, some sources claim this business move is all part of a master plan for the 59-year-old actor to take a step back from Hollywood! One insider said that Brad wants to have a quieter life moving forward, explaining:
“Brad has decided that he wants to live in peace and decided what ‘semi-retirement’ looks like for him.”

So far, “semi-retirement” for Babylon star means ditching the production company and not signing up for other business ventures in the future. What else is Brad up to? Another insider revealed that he may say goodbye to Hollywood and go to France:
“He’s considering leaving Hollywood and moving to France and doing vineyards and art and making furniture… He just wants to live in peace.”
The same person told the outlet before the deal with Mediawan was announced:
“They’re going to sell the production company, Plan B. It’s going to leave Hollywood on a high.”
wow! So, does this mean we won’t be seeing Brad on the big screen again?! Some insiders insist that the star will continue his film career. In fact, the insider first said that “the one thing he’s decided is that he’s going to continue acting.” Others echoed the sentiment, adding:
“When Brad had a lot of time for different things [businesses based out of the French estate, Chateau Miraval, he bought with Angelina Jolie]and other interests like architecture, he is very committed to his film career.
Regardless of what Brad chooses, as previously mentioned, Courtney would be thrilled to see him leave the entertainment industry! He previously slammed the father of six for “blackmailing” and “stalking” him for the rights to film about him Kurt Cobain.
