A bomb has exploded soldiers at the Bundase Military Training Camp near Seglime in Ningo-Prampram District near Tema, killing them instantly.
The deceased who was only known as Biney, according to DGN Online sources in Camp died yesterday Tuesday 28 February 2023.
Biney recently passed out of the Army Recruit Training School.
He was sent to the Bundase Training Camp earlier this year after being stationed at the Teshie Barracks in Accra.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the incident which left many in the Teshie barracks with grief.
Interestingly, there was also no comment from the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF).
It is one of a series of incidents that have struck the army in recent times.
In August 2021, something terrible happened to the service.
A military officer serving at the Army Recruit Training School in Shai Hills, WO II Robert Doku is suspected to have committed suicide.
WO Doku’s body was found at dawn hanging from a rope tied to a tree in the Burma Camp.
There is no reason immediately offered by Doku to kill himself like a case of explosion.
WO II Robert Doku was previously stationed at the Base Ordnance Depot.
