BitPay and MoonPay, a leading provider of bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment infrastructure, have partnered “to provide BitPay users with an increased way to buy cryptocurrency quickly, and at great rates.”
“BitPay’s unique market experience also provides buyers with a variety of rates, so they can get the best price for cryptocurrency purchases,” the press release said. “Additional benefits of the integration include fast delivery to the wallet address they have, as well as the ability for buyers to pay in the way they prefer, including credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or various local bank transfer methods.”
The announcement also states that for a limited time, BitPay users will be able to buy bitcoins at no cost. Those who wish to access the MoonPay integration can do so on BitPay.com or in the BitPay Wallet app.
Bill Zielke, CMO of BitPay, said in a press release that, “BitPay’s partnership with MoonPay brings together two leaders in the crypto payment space to give BitPay users instant access to cryptocurrency.”
Commenting on the statement, Harry Peatson, partner account manager at MoonPay, explained that, “This partnership will provide a variety of ways to buy more cryptocurrencies, to be able to use the purchase method you prefer, and with a delivery speed greater than before..”
