Binance’s AI-powered NFT generator hits 10K mints in 2.5 hours

Binance artificial intelligence’s newly launched nonfungible token (NFT) generator has created digital art at full capacity, reaching the cap of 10,000 NFT mints just 2.5 hours after launch.

On March 1, the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance launched an AI-powered NFT generator called “Bicasso” in beta.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao told users “you can turn your creative vision into NFTs with AI,” after a few hours later with “Bicasso’s first pilot just ended with 10K NFTs printed in 2.5 hours. This AI was a little pushed out, but caught its own [breath] now.”

The system is an AI-powered image generation tool similar to AI art platforms such as DALL-E. Users can upload an image such as a profile picture for the AI to work on, or they can enter creative directions that will generate a bespoke image created with the AI.

According to initial mint data, 9,909 owners created at least one NFT as part of the limited beta. The images are part of the pilot so they are not available for resale.

Users are eager to share their creations on crypto Twitter.

After Binance’s pilot launch acknowledge there are some glitches due to demand, stating:

“Our team is currently working to improve the server’s capabilities to reduce errors and make the minting process smoother.”

It added that those who missed the 10K beta quota can still sign up for the waiting list for the full version.

The latest NFT, “Bicasso AI #10445” was created just an hour ago, according to the platform.
