Bill Clinton Once Lauded Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘Childlike Curiosity’

Bill Clinton also sent a note to be included in the convicted sex trafficker’s so-called “Birthday Book,” and it was made public on Monday by the House Oversight Committee after the release of Trump’s message.

In the note, which the Associated Press said seemed to match Clinton’s handwriting, the former president praises the disgraced financier’s “childlike curiosity,” an interesting choice of words considering what we know about the Epstein case.

“It’s reassuring isn’t it, to have lasted so long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and (illegible), and still to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends,” Clinton wrote.

You can see the note below.

Just for comparison, Trump’s letter for the Epstein book ― which the White House claims is fake ― features a typewritten message surrounded by a crude outline of what looks like woman’s body and the message, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

His signature is placed right where the figure’s sex organs would be, giving the appearance of pubic hair.

HuffPost reached out to Clinton for comment on the 2003 letter, but no one immediately responded. According to the Associated Press, Clinton’s office has previously denied he knew anything about Epstein’s crimes, and traveled with him for humanitarian trips.
