I’m as healthy as a middle-aged man (admittedly, I cringe at the old word, which tells you something about it). But I know that at this stage, I don’t have the energy I had ten years ago. I forget about other things, and if my body doesn’t hurt when I wake up in the morning, the little voice in my head asks if I’m dead and I don’t know yet.
