The Real Housewives of New York‘s Bethenny Frankel sent a message of support to Heather Dubrow‘s son Ace, who recently came out as trans.
Heather, castmate is now on The Real Housewives of Orange County, have four children. Last year, her daughter Kat came out as gay, which is about two years after Max’s eldest daughter came out as bi.
In an Instagram post on March 5, Bethenny shared her daughter’s TikTok again Bryn dance with Ace.
In the caption of the post, Bethenny wrote a message of support.
“This is my son Bryn & his friend Ace, son of @heatherdubrow & @drdubrow,” the alum wrote. “I have known Heather for decades. Heather is a young actress and friend of my ex-husband Peterbrother, Danny.”
He then said, “My recent life events made me nostalgic and wanted to make an effort to connect with people from the past, so when I ran into Heather and her husband Terry in Aspen on the street, I opened up. My country is usually closed.”
“We met again at dinner and I met Ace’s beautiful son, Bryn’s age,” Bethenny said. “Bryn & Ace made plans to ride the slopes. I soon received a text from Heather saying that Ace had recently transitioned. She felt the need to clarify. It’s a new world now, thank you, and every moment is a learning experience.
Bethenny added, “When I first met Ace at the table, there was real happiness and joy in his essence – an extra dose of sweetness, which I told Heather after dinner. There was something more about him. In hindsight, I’m sure he was allowed to be who he really is.
The star stated, “Bryn and Ace quickly became friends – texting, skiing and snowboarding; posting TikToks … I have said and believe: You cannot be who you are not. You must allow yourself to be free to be who you are. Life is short and it’s worth it. Be the person you want to be and be a good person in the process.”
After the post, Heather responded in the comments: “Thank you @bethennyfrankel for your love and support. Bryn is amazing- you’ve raised a good one.
