Captain Sandy Yawn are responding Captain Lee Rosbach‘s recent Twitter diss, showing what he didn’t tell him Camille Lamb‘s shot before, and opened almost a “mutiny.”
Captain Sandy, who is the star Below Deck Mediterranean, agreed to temporarily command Lee’s ship while recovering from a medical condition. But after Below Deck viewers saw the firing of Camille, Lee publicly showed his unhappiness with Sandy, claiming there was a lack of procedure. He also advises her not to respect him.
Talk to the host Amy Phillips at SiriusXM’s Reality CheckedCaptain Sandy addressed the dispute.
He first explained the reason why he did not notify Lee before he was fired. In the process, Sandy announced an imminent mutiny on the ship.
“He is in the hospital. Who will call and say, ‘Can I fire Camille?’ I would never do it in a million years,” said the star. “But what I did was call him and say, ‘By the way, I fired him. You almost had a mutiny on the boat because of him.'”
He added, “And what’s more, who would call someone when they’re in surgery and then recovering from surgery? It’s just, I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve tried to call him so many times and he hasn’t picked up the phone… I just want go, ‘Why? Why?'”
The captain said, “When he went down, we went up high … I said to Lee, I was like ‘Hurt the sick,’ right? So, I don’t know. I never hurt them, but I thought you spewing stuff like that, like inside and I feel bad for the guy.
“He certainly doesn’t act his age,” Sandy continued.
Sandy shut down the idea that she wanted to take over. “I called him [later in the season] and said, ‘Go back to your boat.’ Because I have a girlfriend who is going to have surgery. Like, I didn’t walk in there to take over the show. I don’t want two shows. I like Med. Are you kidding me? I love the Mediterranean.
Below Deck airs Monday nights at 8pm EST on Bravo.
